I am seeking as many signatures as I can with this petition. I have seen delano grow with little to no growth in childcare, and continuously see posts on facebook where people are looking for childcare, or have been on a wait list for quite awhile. Please sign the pension if you are or know of anyone looking in the town of Delano, Minnesota for childcare. This pension is to help support the project of an additional childcare center to be build in our community.

I believe that the lack of child care facilities are low and in desperate need. More families are moving to our area and those families have no option. Every center here is full with a long waiting list.
I signed up for Big Woods while 4 months pregs with twins; we finally got in when they were three. Yeah, we need more centers in Delano.

I run a in home daycare but there needs to be another center
Delano needs more childcare options! Especially for summer!

My husband and I have been trying to find a spot for our toddler for months now and keep getting told there are no openings. It is stressful trying to find someone reliable in town.
