Cher Maximen was sadly stabbed in front of her daughter at Notting hill carnival in August 2024 cher was taken to hospital but unfortunately didn’t make it the day Cher attended carnival was the kids day where she takes her daughter most years, you would not expect a brutal stabbing to happen to such a beautiful woman in front of her young daughter Cher has always been full of life and a great mother a great mother and just always a peace maker in every situation, Cher is not the person to conflict harm or anything into anyone, that is not who she was and that’s not who she’s ever been, due to this disgusting vile stabbing I believe carnival should be banned until the government place restriction of knife and gun crime at these events and also in day to day life there has to be a point where we say no this is not happening anymore, how many more lives are going to be taken how many more children are gonna be left without parents and how many more are going to have to bury their children before themselves this needs to stop and I’m sorry but I don’t go carnival for this reason exactly people can’t go out and just have a good time without tomorrow being promised to them, it’s happened to many times at carnival and we still continue to hold these events some may say otherwise but me personally I will never ever attempt to bring my own kids or myself to a carnival where a woman was stabbed I front of her daughter it’s absolutely vile and hideous shameful and a utter disgrace this may cause upwall but a life has been taken a child is left without a mother a family and a parent sits and grieves over their loss including close friends of Cher I will continue to push this to the maximum heights as Cher was and I hope we can all come together united for this because if we don’t we only have ourselves left to blame people need to be able to walk and live freely again and people that go around stabbing people deserve the maximum sentence of all time, I will never forget Cher Maximen and I will love and think and keep you’re legacy going in any means possible any money that gets donated for anything I do in life for Cher and her daughter and family will all go to the family and Cher and her daughter for the future of feeling some sort of hope and support.

I feel that this is only fair. I love carnival,but there should be something in place to search people going there. A little girl now has to grow up without her mother all because people can’t just go to an event & have a good time why do these things need to happen all the time.
How many more lives is it gonna take for carnival to get banned? My cousin was killed years ago and still carnival goes on it needs to be banned now a young lady has lost her life in front of her three-year-old child. Shouldn’t this be enough? shouldn’t this be the end of it?
RIP beautiful Cher/Riri was literally the week leading up to carnival I spoke to you. Hearing this has broken me and I just hope ur daughter & family gets the love and support they need for this terrible loss. Always in my heart ❤️ ( I will honour your words u have given to me when we last spoke )
More needs to be done to safely allow people to attend community events. Monsters who carry knives have now place at these events or in society. There needs to be stricter rules for the whole governance of the carnival for safety all round.
I attended carnival first time on Monday with my son and I would never return again I was so scared for everyone’s life and I was watching from a window with my son he didn’t enjoy anything about the event and the violence I saw and police couldn’t control the situations that was happening in front of my eyes was appalling
Something needs to change to ensure the carnival remains a safe and joyous occasion for people of all ages, a safe event.
I agree with the sentiments expressed and intention to protect others, (even if there is some lack of punctuation). The sheer volume of people , levels of crime and lack of sense shown by the Mayor will definitely lead to more deaths if something isn't done. Unfortunately it will take a major tragic incident to improve public safety at this event. Which won't help the victims.

A young lady life was taken away, if more measures can’t be put in place to ensure this don’t happen again then I agree to cancel carnival to ensure everyone’s safety. Rip Cher
