End the Prohibition on Chickens in Chelsea, Michigan!
I urge the Chelsea Planning Commission and the Chelsea City Council to consider changing the city's ordinance to allow the keeping of a small flock of laying hens (NO ROOSTERS), so long as they are kept in a clean and responsible manner, regardless of arbitrary lot size requirements.

My kids would love to learn where our food comes from. Fresh eggs right from the yard is way better than store bought. Hope this passes soon!!

Ridiculous that we pay high taxes but cant keep a few hens for eggs in our own backyards. Its 2016 lets get with the times.
