We, the undersigned, oppose the removal of trees on Niagara Escarpment Land to accommodate a 4.5 metre asphalt trail through the forest beside the Chedoke Golf Course as proposed by the City of Hamilton. We are in support of a multi-use trail that does not involve the removal of trees or damage to the forest. We feel that fixing and using the existing trail would be a more eco-friendly alternative.
