what about the students that worked v hard to enter these 3 schools but are getting laughed at and humilated by their peers for entering a jc that no one even knows how to pronounce its name like

With the name seemingly being viewed as a "joke" to the public, it would be wise for the name to be changed, or to have a press release to address this situation. It may just be a name but I'm sure students about to be transferred to the JC wants their JC to be viewed with positively, not to hear their friends from the O-levels track making jokes about their future JC's name.

I'm not in the IP track, but honestly how is any student who is about to be transferred to Eunoia going to move forward if everyone thinks that the name of their JC is funny? I'm very glad I'm not from the IP track because I cannot tolerate this humiliation.

As a student in one of the three schools, I feel very disappointed in our new school name. Firstly, the name is vv difficult to pronounce, and to be honest, I feel very embarrassed to call myself a student from "eunoia JC" as so many people have been laughing at this name. I've received messages that writes "good luck ah". I don't feel proud as a student from this JC; and if you're not proud as a student, how do you expect us to be happy? Furthermore, "eunoia" is Greek culture. Are we promoting Greek culture here or?! This is Singapore not Greece!! Hence, I hope that MOE would do something about this. Or let the students have a say in this. We're already very unhappy that our holding site will be somewhere far, and now, we are even more unhappy about the new name. "Ew no ah" "you know ah" DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES IVE HEARD THIS IN A DAY!? So many people are laughing at this name that I feel so ashamed of myself to be coming from this "you know ah" JC
