we actually pulled it off and the administration agreed to bring back the original convocation events. i seriously cant believe we got the video and performances back but thank you for jumping on this with me.

Final supporters
As respectful students of the school, we wish to request that the authorities restore the auspicious Convocation programme to at the least events that the past batches had. The events such as the valedictorian speech, batch Presentation-video, Band performance as we see form an integral part of the Ceremony.
This is an event that holds the last memory of our school as students; we hope that our voices are heard and that the concerning authorities take into notice the humble opinion of the students; who if we may remind form a good part of our school.
Quoting directly the message we've received from one of the students:
Our beloved CEO said"I do not want the convocation to be more than 90 Minutes. It has to be the most formal convocation we have ever had. The Brass Band will be performing instead of the bands formed by the students. Those who got detained will not be given an invitation to the event no matter what. I do not want to have any problems "
Which means :
No Band Performance by Tejas and Crew
No Dance Performance by Preetham and his gang
No Afterparty
And Yes No Video of all our memories too
I hope all you fellow students take into notice this petition.

ive been reading all your comments and it is clear that everyone feels like these changes are stripping away the soul of our final ceremony. im putting together a formal letter to the administration right now to show them just how many people think this is a bad idea.

this is honestly crazy and i cant believe how many people are stepping up to back this. it proves we all want the same thing for our final memories at this school so lets keep this energy going until they have to listen.

Guess the administration just doesnt care about what we want at all.
BRING BACK THE BAND!!! Why replace student talent with a brass band nobody asked for???
No video? That is the best part! Why take away the memories we spent so much time making.
Ridiculous. Let the students have some fun for once instead of making everything so stiff and boring.
Total buzzkill. Way to ruin our last memories of school.

This is honestly so unfair. We worked hard for years and deserve a proper goodbye. 90 minutes is way too short for graduation.
