Final supporters
We the POA members of mystic shores request the following changes to pool operations.
1. All pools be allowed access through the white key card system we use to access boat storage, community center, and lake park. This will allow us to do away with specific pool tags and allow us to never have to change pool tags again.
2. The pool hours be changed to from sun up to sun down. This will be enabled via the key card system mentioned above.
3. Attendants will only be needed in peak hours which can be determined by analyzing the logs from previous years of sign in activity. No attendants will be present during school hours or school season.
4. During the non-peak hours there will be no attendants present and all swimmers will be swimming at their own risk.
5. Pool season will be open from May - September. No Attendants will be available in May or September.

The board has been dodging my emails about the key card proposal for weeks. It is draining to keep pushing for simple logic when they treat these changes like a threat to the neighborhood.

I agree that pool tags are not necessary and sort of redundant, not the way to collect past due fines, key cards could be disabled when in arrears. Pool hours should be extended to sunlight unless lights are already in place, and then night swimming should be allowed. We a,l had stars in mind when we purchased out of the city right? Attendants if employed at all should be life guard certified. Pool season should be reflective of warm weather which is from at least May thru September.
I am not in favor of no attendants. The past 2 times I have been I have seen the need for attendants.
I dislike the guest policy very much! I quit going to pool because of it! I went to pool with daughter and family, which includes 6 ! They only allow five quests so gave me grief then finally said ok this once! No one was even at the pool! This was back in 2005 or 2006! I don’t understand why they just don’t charge guest fee like every other Country Club or athletic club we’ve belong too!
Is the attendant a certified lifeguard?
I feel that pool hours should be extended longer than Labor Day in September if the weather remains hot. At least until the end of September. Also, if they insist on pool attendants, then they should be lifeguard certified and be onsite at all times. Right now, they stay in out of the sun in the little room by the top of steps and only come out when someone enters or leaves.

I agree to having the pool open from sunup to sundown, with key card access (which would give information on who the last person was, if it gets trashed), there needs to be a call number if someone comes in and finds it trashed! You swim at your own risk.
