Too bad TAFY couldn't be connected with a more secure place with positive intentions as well such as a treatment center or the courthouse maybe... most of the regulars with careless actions that go to TAFY may take the rules and point of the place more serious. This position is a great idea!

Time to close down a non-working program. They serve ages up and over 35 years of age, and Susan has admitted that they serve very few under 18. This is not a youth service organization, like they claim.

I agree with having a center for youth.. but I cannot support a center for youth that is used and frequented by adult felons. The youth need to have a safe environment in which to get help and assistance, without co-mingling with adult felons and sex offenders.

Shelter these teens from the predators that would harm them.

There is no reason for young people AND children to be co-mingling with convicted rapists (who met their victim at TAFY, by the way, and is still allowed on these premises) people who are high, dealing drugs and living full blown lives of crime. The neighbors have had it!! The community has had it!! There is absolutely no regard for our quality of life at all. People pay money to live in houses on this block and have to deal with the criminal element daily. This is a terrible example of how to run a non-profit that wants to "help people". You are alienating your community by letting thugs call the shots at TAFY. TAFY Supporters, Instead of being stubborn and defensive, how about LISTENING to legitimate concerns. How godly would that be? Yeah, druggies and rapists do not belong in the same place as innocent kids. That is NOT too hard to comprehend. Oh and the 35 year old age limit is a lie....quit being deceptive and get legit or quit!

Let's get behind and for "Our City!" Not TAFY as it is now! Bring it back to its intended purpose. The kids!

Enabling is NOT helping! Mixing predators with vulnerable youth is NOT helping!! Reneging on your OWN mission statement is NOT helping!!!

They are not a youth services organization, per Susan's own admission, they rarely help anyone who is under eighteen years old. Time to stop taking money from people that think they are donating to help the youths.

This place is no good, and it does not serve youth. My family and I do not feel safe having this place in front of our house, and these people need to leave. Many times my family and I have found drug needles and other things in the bushes near our house. This place is not doing a very good job of treating those addicted, and I have seen drug deals go down in broad day light at its front door, as well as in the park across the street. NO TAFY.

I have to agree with not helping the addicted adults. There is a place already for them over on 5th street. I don't think by taking TAFY away that its going to solve the problem with all of the addiced adults in town. I do think that it is a good idea to keep them away from there. There are young people trying to better themselves by having susan help them get their act together. And besides that, there are the different parks, parking logs, stores, etc. Where they hang out too, it's not only at TAFY it's everywhere! People need to quit whining and do something about al, of these transients, druggers whatever they are. Maybe if you all went to volunteer your time there ? You would see that susan doesn't put up with anything, she's a great person trying to make a difference In our community. I say keep TAFY!

Y'all are a grown up. Y"all are over 18, you are over 21. Go to a center that caters to adults. Go to http://www.nopana.org/ North Olympic Peninsula Area Narcotics Anonymous. TAFY is the answer to youth and you are far past your youth.
