Change at TAFY is not closing TAFY. Change is recognizing the flaws in ones plan and making adjustments. Those in radical support of TAFY must recognize that their behavior is not contributing to the "positive influence" image they wish to project. Troubled adults who have not found a serene path do not belong in spheres that intersect with troubled youth. If, as TAFY leadership indicated publicly, this group rarely sees under 18 ages, their mission statement and name must be amended. It is that simple. Do not allow this to become a personal attack in either direction.

I am part of a group doing neighborhood watch and other comunity service in this town eorking with the police department and agencies, my disabilities don't allow me to do things many do so i help the best i can. In the 12th i was verbally asaulted and blocked in by Tafy Volunteers and supports for being by the tree park with a camera and my dog. They told me they were going to break my camera, flipped me off, blocked me in so i couldn't leave. Swore at me. All be caue i was watching to see what goes on in the neighborhood. When sproched i gave them my name and told them i was doing nothing illegal. A nice old man of at least 60 had just left tafy with his dog and stopped to ask me if i took his picture. I told him i did not which was the truth. I was watching for drug activity. I told him to have a nice day and he told me to do the same. I think he should eat at s.a. and tafy should be for youth but i was just watching and looking for crime. This is not a place i care to support that has open arms. They didn't give me ant chance and are not open to help or trying to fix the problem. Our town is a group of citizens that care and want to help get touse in need get the services they need. Tafy has strayed and needs to straighten up or let the resources go to somethat will help the ones that need it, not the druggies, and paying for weddibgs! Really!? Thats not a need!

Im so disappointed that its not for KIDS/TEENS, which is what I was told It was for.. NOT adults who can very easily influence these kids who already have nothing to do in this town.. ..

Please keep our most vulnerable children away from these known predators. Do this for the youth, they need our help. Clean up Taffy.

Rules need t be enforced! I believe this is a needed resource for youth, but they shouldn't have to worry about older addicts and criminals who can find help elsewhere.

SHUT IT DOWN! Ask yourself if this is a place you would want your child to go?? Good place to learn how to shoot up heroin! Oh, and don't forget the rapist that hangs out there!

Serve the youth up to 21 years old. Enforce rules. No drugs on premise. No selling drugs on premise. No loitering. No one on premise after hours.

Might have done well in the beginning but I will never support any org. That enables drug use and users.

OK...Hello, my name is Vicky Larson and after seeing this 2nd petition; I've decided I have to comment. First off, I am against these petitions and the groups whom are behind them as I feel they are not very nice to people whom need help, nor to the people whom are trying to help them. As for the name of T.A.F.Y., it is my understanding it originally stood for "The Answer For Youth" (Youth meaning young adults, not just teenagers); however, I read, it is being considered to change to "The Answer For You". Also, I believe T.A.F.Y. has a religious aspect to it...of trying to let people in need know that others do care about them, including God. So these persecutions remind me of what Jesus faced when he was trying to help the less fortunate. Please people, let's care about each other and try to make our Port of Angels a better place for all; not just those whom are lucky enough to have a roof over their heads, food for their tummy, and no major problems. But for the Grace of God, go I. Even heroin dealers can change: https://www.facebook.com/humansofnewyork/photos/a.102107073196735.4429.102099916530784/1185743858166379/?type=3&theater

We lived across the street when they first opened. We ended up moving because of the type of traffic that comes through there. Nothing good is coming from this place NOTHING!!

Omg yalls first petition didn't work so y'all try another talk aren't going to get 1000 signatures stop trying to close tafy down its doing more good than you know I'm 26 are you saying I'm not allowed in there with my child who is 3 It's not going to change just cause y'all don't like it it is what it is and its that way to help people who need it so instead of complaining about it why don't you contribute and volunteer and maybe you will see how tacy really is instead of making stuff up

Please be clear to donors who their donations are benefitting. The word "youth" in the name is misleading. I do not feel troubled and impressionable 13 year olds should be mixing with troubled and potentially manipulative 35 year olds. It is just not safe for the "youth."

I would also like to add, TAFY needs to have rules and regulations. They do not need the neighbors to be patrolling their area. If they cannot get their grip together. Close the doors! No one is judged purely on their intentions, Actions speak louder than words. I want this place to have some boundaries. If you have people who believe in their cause then they need to have some guide lines on which they are going to operate. I believe that is called COMMON SENSE. Without them it has become a free for all. And I have witnessed this behavior from TAFY first hand! Clean it up or get out!
