I am currently organizing the feedback from this petition to present as a formal proposal to the franchise's branding department. My next step involves securing a meeting with the communications office to discuss these specific design concerns.
September 1, 2015
The traction on this proposal has reached a level that warrants a formal meeting request with the Canucks organization. I am currently finalizing the brief that outlines the case for a brand identity refresh.

The orca was fine with the jerseys it was originally on, but pasting it onto the present jerseys with the blue and green was horrible. Not to mention slapping "Vancouver" on it. Keep the blue and green, but incorporate Johnny Canuck.

- Saw a mock-up of Canucks uniform in current colours with a green jersey and skate logo it was a killer looking uniform - bring back the skate logo!

Hate the whale logo, since Orca Bay introduced it.
Regardless that these whales swim up & down our coast.
Our team are called the Canucks! What does a whale have to do with the team nickname?
They should use anything that does not involve an animal. I'm all for either the Stick in Rink, Speeding Skate or Skating Johnny Canuck.

Our Orca is amazing and this is a terrible idea. It's so bad that I can sign it, and don't have to worry about it gaining momentum.

Update the jersey, use the rink logo but make green the main color and blue the contrast. Something like this https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BtzPbqCCMAQP_fi.jpg
