Nashoba Regional high school has changed the prom age limit from 21 to 18. Students with significant others in college are heart broken to learn that they can't bring them to their one and only prom. Help us change this rule!

The volume of support has reached the threshold required to formally request a meeting with the Nashoba Regional administration. I am currently drafting a letter outlining the specific impact of the age limit change on our student body. Expect an update once a time is set for this initial discussion.

@ the people saying people over 18 are going to bring alcohol- the drinking age is 21, which is why the rule used to be UNDER 21... there is no reason for it to be 18
That awkward moment when you get held back and can no longer go to prom as a senior because you are 19.
how would you like it if you were put in their position, give it a break, he went to the school its not like hes some outsider that you peiple dont know.
This rule is ridiculous, the boyfriend is also a Nashoba alumn. CHANGE THE RULE BACK TO WHAT IT WAS.
Of course seniors with girl/boyfriends in college should be able to bring their significant other. If I went to high school with the person, I should be able to take them to prom.

This is honestly so stupid, reason why it's called a junior prom. If your 21 you can buy alcohol and sneak it in. Just because you're the only one with a boyfriend that's older than you isn't gonna change Nashobas policy. Grow up.
