Change the PDGA Policy on Eligibility for Gender-Restricted Divisions

Let's return to normalcy.

It is ludicrous for young girls/ grown women, to be forced to play in a division with a biological male. Make a transgender division or have them play against other men in the other divisions. My daughter had to play in the junior boy division when she first started playing due to not having a junior girl division available for her at tournaments. Once her division was available that’s where she played. Make a transgender division.

I will not support PDGA or re-up my membership . These terms are completely harmful to the FPO Field and others

Play in mixed field or gender at birth field

This is absolutely ridiculous we have to fight for real women to not be forced to compete against men. Y'all need to make a division just for trans people or they play mixed pro/am period. A woman can play and compete against men but, a man should never be allowed to compete with the women. She (born a women) is the one at the disadvantage. At the rate we are heading there won't be any biological women records in the world. Look at the world records currently held in women's. There's a bunch now held by guys and it's unbelievable we are allowing this to happen. We should celebrate an honor women. them they give us all life. Now we are trying to erase them from history (record books).

There needs to be a better way. Age and gender protected divisions were created for a reason. The mixed and open divisions are always available to everyone, without restrictions. There is a place for everyone.

No matter how much a person tries you can’t change what you are born as. A man that tries to trans over to a female will always have a advantage over natural born women. End of story.

Solutions should be x gender divisions, etc

Hormones are considered gene therapy and or enhancement drugs. By allowing the mixture of natural born male and females under the female demographic is unfair to natural born women. This is a really gray area. You wouldn’t allow your professional athlete's to use performance enhancing drugs and hormones, so why on earth would be acceptable to allow an unfair playing field in the first place? Natural born men do not have to deal with many of the same issues that natural born women have to compete through and it’s an unfair competition at that point.

Totally unfair for naturally born females to have to compete against men, no matter what you "identify" as. If we want to respect HER game, then lets do exactly that and quit disrespecting HER game by asking her to compete against those born male. This rule needs to change ASAP or it will DEF stimy female disc golf growth, imo.

Female division is not unisex. Biological female only. Men's division is unisex There is a place for all to play here.

This rule should definitely be reevaluated.

This policy hurts women

It is not fair for the women that have trained and practiced for years to get to the level they are at for someone that is transgender to step in and just dominate.

Men play men woman play women unless its mixed doubles
