The safety of the children should ALWAYS come first. This would leave the door open for abuse and negligence. Please help protect the children that can't protect themselves.

I am a licensed daycare provider and am pleading with you to think this through. Every child deserves a loving, safe, and educated responsible provider. Every daycare should require background checks and necessary first aid and CPR, medication administration, standard precautions. Convenience should never be this states priority. Safety of children comes first. I am speaking for all these little voices that can't speak up. Do not pass this bill that will harm more than do good. Tara Romero

This bill needs to be revised. It put children at risk by not inspecting homes and doing background checks. Shame on legislators for even considering it, it is a badly thought out bill.

This bill needs to be revised--child care homes should be inspected and care givers should have training and background checks!!

This bill needs to be revised and better thought out. This bill would cause many children to be placed in care woith adults that are not trained or supervised. This Bill is a bad plan.

From a psychologist's perspective, it is pertinent that all daycare providers have a background check before they are allowed to watch someone's children. If you do not understand the reason's why, feel free to email me. Thank you.

I signed because all employees who work with children should have to pass a background check and be liable for training and professional improvement of their skills. An unlicensed and untrained employee being put in charge of daily care of children is terribly irresponsible and can impact the safety of our precious youth.

This must be changed. This is placing children at risk. Childcare providers must have a background check and proper minimum training for CPR/First aid, Sids protections, safe sleeping at the very minimum.

I sign for the unfair judgement on licensed homes because of unlicensed homes.

Children need to be safe in the state of Colorado.
