The district finally agreed to move the ceremonies to August at the arena. I have been running on fumes for weeks but it feels good to know we actually secured the send off everyone deserves.

Due to the corona pandemic, our graduations have been pushed up and assigned to be held at Spring Valley's Harry Parone Stadium June 1-5 with ONLY 2 GUESTS PER GRADUATE. Sign this petition to have Richland 2 change the graduation dates back to the beginning of August so we can get our proper send off at the Colonial Life Arena with ALL of our families in attendance.

Seeing this level of support makes me feel less isolated in the fight for a real ceremony. The path forward remains exhausting but I am staying in this until the district hears us.

2 guests is a joke. my grandma raised me and she wont even be able to get a ticket
My mom won’t be able to see me walk across the stage because she has breast cancer. She is afraid that someone might be around her and potentially get her sick. When the graduation date was set in August, that was perfect because she will be cured for cancer on July 23rd.
imagine being the reason why a bunch of families are dead because a random board voted to do this
Not only that but bruh it’s too early to be doing graduation the affected have not gone down that far
i couldn’t imagine not having a proper graduation, this must be disappointing to the seniors , it’s one of the biggest moments of their life .
Really want my family to see me
The later the graduation date, the safer it can be for everyone!

my brother worked so hard for 4 years just to be rushed like this. he deserves to have his whole family there in august
