Final supporters
Milwaukee High School of the Arts have been under the control Mr. Barry Applewhite for over ten plus years. Over those past years, he has been bumping heads with teachers, students and even parents. I believe Milwaukee High School of the Arts would be better and will rise to it's full glory with another principal who actually cares about the achievements of the School and the Arts. This current principal is a manipulator and a liar. He makes our staff and students upset daily and does not give us useful tools to succeed.
He is money hungry and puts himself before his school that he "cares about". This has gone on for to long and we need to help our school.
The Milwaukee Public School Board needs to hear us and help us with this problem.

He does not do his job at all I attended mhsa I left in December because every time I had an argument with an student he'd send me home n I had to have my parent come in the next day and when she got there he wouldn't talk about the situation he'd talk about my grades and they had me on a policy paper where I had to come to school n leave after nor I couldn't do after school programs
He is a bad priciple he told a transgender student that she had to take her hair out or she would be suspeneded
I am a former student of MHSA. Before and during AppleWhites time as principal. He is not the person that community needs to help empower those students
Barry Applewhite made my freshman year a living hell when he accused me of scribbling a bomb threat in the ladies room. He called the POLICE on me and had me interrogated without calling home first. He should resign.
the fact that the man in charge of an arts school seems to be mainly focused on money while also disrespecting people's existences because of who they are is astounding.
The level of disrespect it sounds like this guy has for the kids is obvious and disgusting.
so who's going to be our new principle if this happens?

Im saddened by his behavior being allowed in the educational field. He makes it harder for students to feel comfortable in their learning environment. I feel that it is critical he be removed from mhsa. I honestly wish I didnt have to feel this way however my child is a victim of his bullying. Please remove him. Thank you
