The school administration reversed the uniform policy and will allow us to buy clothes from any store again. Thank you to the 263 people who held the line on this issue. Keep an eye on the next parent meeting to ensure they stick to this promise.

Park view is changing there school uniform from September. Not only is it going to be more expensive the kids hate it... no more buying skirts and trousers from tesco, adsa or sainsburys has to be from school. I am disappointed that this has not been discussed with parents before a letter was received. Many parents have already bought uniform for next term. This uniform will be significantly more expensive.
This should have been voted on by parents, students & governors alike to ensure that full representation was given from all concerned. Whether the pupils like the uniform is surely key to success, but to also not consult parents who will be paying for this is quite concerning.
All children should of had a say and my daughter is really worried having to wear the new skirt and blazer , she is very petite and she said she would look ridiculous , more fitted clothes is needed especially for the girls , there are a lot of parents not happy regarding price and outlook , Thankyou
This is ridiculous. A bad taste over priced uniform will not improve exam results. This is a school for ordinary working class families. Stop being a snob and put your ideas into practical matters.
I agree with the blazer but think the embellished trousers /skirts @£15 a pair is not necessary particularly due to the rate of growth at this age and quantity required per child. Enforcing inflated sales through a third party is unacceptable .

I'm angry at having to purchase a full new uniform bearing the school logo at very expensive prices that will be worn by my son for less than a year. He will be going into his final year (yr 11) commencing September 2016. I believe that this year group should be exempt from compulsory purchase of the new uniform.
