We, the student body of Furman University, are fed up with the seemingly endless Wifi issues regarding the Apogee ResNet network. Constant interruptions, outages, slowness, etc. have pushed us over the edge. Especially when we don’t receive an email from staff about the outage until multiple hours after it happens, and the fact that none of our professors are notified of what is happening. Many of us have had issues with schoolwork and assignment deadlines because of this, and at a private school like Furman, we should be able to have access to a reliable internet service at all times. As far as we are aware, no other schools have issues as bad as this, and we want it to change. Sign this petition to help us make our frustrations aware to the staff without it being pushed down.
