Do you really know what "Domestic abuse" is?

What you are about to read is some information regarding what falls under the domestic abuse law.

1. Intimate partner violence ( Thus meaning a consensual relationship between two people has physical abuse between them ) Ie. Punching, Kicking, Fights, Throwing objects at each other, Biting, Scratching and anything else that falls under violence.
2. Domestic violence ( Thus meaning the inflicting of physical injury by one family or household member on another
3. Physical abuse is abuse involving contact intended to cause pain, injury, or other physical suffering or bodily harm. It includes hitting, slapping, punching, choking, pushing, throwing objects, burning and other types of contact that result in physical injury to the victim

No one in the right mind would condone any of this behavior and they are right to receive whatever punishment is handed to them in a court of law.

Now where the issue lies is what else falls under "Domestic abuse"

If you swear at someone through a text message you fall under the same category as the above and get handed with domestic abuse slapped on your criminal record which does not define or explain the details of the offence it just states " Domestic abuse"

If someone takes the context of a text message the wrong way you fall under the same category as above and get handed with domestic abuse slapped on your criminal record which does not define or explain the details of the offence it just states " Domestic abuse"

If you tell someone to F**k themselves or something similar you fall under the same category as above and get handed with domestic abuse slapped on your criminal record which does not define or explain the details of the offence it just states " Domestic abuse"

I am here today to start an online petition and raise awareness to those who get tarred with the same brush and fall under the "domestic abuse" category for maybe something so petty you might have said or done.

This law once and for all needs to be split up into different sectors and stop tarnishing people who might have said something out of context or sent a message out of anger under the same brush as people who commit physical and mental abuse over a number of years!!
