Change City of Thornton code to allow residential chickens.

I live in hunters glen and I think Thornton should allow chickens. I would love to have chickens and fresh eggs to feed to my family.

Boulder, Denver, Broomfield, Littleton, etc. allow chickens. It's time Thornton does too!

All other cities allow a set number of chickens. Thornton allows marijuana so those of us who don't want marijuana why can't we have chickens!

Backyard chickens are legal in most surrounding suburbs/towns with no issues reported. Proper ownership prevents pests and other common concerns.
Restrictions on roosters, placement/size of coop and number of animals is perfectly reasonable.
Responsible owners should not be denied this unique and rewarding family experience.
