Change City of Thornton code to allow residential chickens.

We would love to have chickens at our home. They are so beneficial to our family, our garden and they are just such fun animals to have around.

We hold these truths to be self-evident that chickens are no worse than all the smelly and noisy dogs we already have in the city. Give us chickens or give us death!

Families in Thornton should have the same right as those living in nearby Westminster and Northglenn to take responsibility for portions of their own food supply. This right will allow residents to monitor the conditions in which at least portions of their food are produced reducing the consumption of unnecessary antibiotics etc.

It should be allowed as you can have up to 6 in Northglenn and it's not a problem for my neighbor
