Dear Carondelet President,
We believe the Cougar is a fantastic mascot, no doubt. However, we believe the mascot is out of date, and no longer represents the spirit of Carondelet. We offer a new alternative. Harambe of the Cincinnati Zoo of Cincinnati, Ohio, represents a modern idealism of martyrdom, innocence, and goodwill that is felt by the modern generation everywhere. He is the Christ figure of the modern era, and we believe he is a figure the modern generation can look up to and respect. We respectfully suggest that Carondelet adopt Harambe as the new school mascot.
Sincerely,
everybody
I think this is the greatest thing to ever come out of Carondelet High School. I have had many problems with this school but this is not one of them. I am a De La Salle graduate and you never know what's going to come through those classroom doors. Harambe died for our sins and should not be forgotten in our lifetime. He should be the patron saint of all people in this world. He is the new God.
