Allow facial piercings in Lawton public schools !!!!!

I had to take my piercing out and by the time I got home and got clear piercings my nose piercing had already grown over! It wasnt even an all that noticable stud, it was really small and wasnt distracting in the least bit.

Facial piercings are literally hurting no one they're a form of self expression. We're suppose to be ourselves but all you guys want is for us to follow your rules on how we need to dress and what holes we can and can't put into our bodies. If our parents allowed us to put these holes in our bodies there's not reason we can't go to school with them.

I think we should be able to wear piercings then we don't have to worry about taking them out every time we see a principle and it would keep kids out the office when they get a smart mouth for having to take their piercings out

I don't think piercings are a distraction at all. I have never seen anyone ever be distracted by them.

I dont have pericings but i plan on getting them, i want to be able to wear it proudly

We should be able to have facial piercings, without it being a distracting to other students it shouldn't matter because there is many other problems in the Lawton public school then for the principles and other adult figures worrying about if we have Facial piercings or not.

they're trying to teach employability by telling us that we need to take out our piercings . if they want to teach us employability they're other ways.

Facial piercings aren't a distraction people will stare at anyone either way

I agree with the author of this petition. We deserve facial piercings in LPS.
