I have been busy reaching out to local officials to question their process and I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you are helping keep this momentum alive. None of this progress would be happening without the time you all took to sign your names.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have joined this cause. It is your determination that fuels this momentum because I truly never imagined so many neighbors would feel this same sense of urgency.

NOT IN OUR BACKYARD. Do it the right way and get a real study done already. So tired of the council acting like they own the place.
Why the rush? If its so safe then prove it with a study. Smells like a backroom deal to me.
Too many health risks for a smelter this close to town. Stop the project until we get some honest answers from people who arent on the payroll.
Keep our city clean. We dont need another industrial eyesore making everything covered in soot. Get an independent firm in there now.
This is ridiculous. They just sneak this stuff through in closed meetings without asking us? We deserve to know whats actually happening to our air quality.

My kids play at the park nearby. I am really worried about what this could do to the neighborhood. Please just stop and think about the residents for once.
