I believe that healthy school food is essential to children's performance during their school years. Charlottesville City Schools should devise and implement a school foods policy that goes beyond USDA minimums by actively encouraging whole, nutrient-rich foods and discouraging nutrient-poor foods high in sugars and high fructose corn syrup.
