CCA must do better! As a private school the administration should have at minimum polled the parents. The lack of effective and productive two way conversation is lackluster. Please reconsider this decision for 100% in school learning. Follow ALL the data not simply the data that supports reopening.

I wonder if the ability to keep 6ft in the classes is based on original enrollment figures? I think of the size of the classrooms and I think of the number of kids and wonder how? Is there an assumption that people will withdraw that decisions are being made by? How are they supporting those families? I've gotten no response to any of my concerns as well. It's extremely disappointing.

I made the difficult decision to leave CCA because of the lack of information from administration. We were left in the dark up until a few weeks ago. I truly feel that teachers will die. Even then, I doubt there will be a closure. Will we sacrifice our children on the altar of pride, arrogance, and money? Or will we do what God wants us to do, keep our kids safe. God bless those who are fighting for your kids and teachers. Follow the county schedule.

CCA should have a virtual option for those that are in the high risk category. It is unacceptable and heartless for a Christian organization not think about health & safety of the students and families.

Students, and certain their Parents expect school officials to put our children's safety ahead of everything. The strategy of 100% in school attendance for our children is contrary to this expectation. The children deserve better from their protectors. You cando better.

I highly recommend this be approved for virtual classes for at least the first quarter of the school year as an option be approved.

Although I appreciate the effort CCA has made to try and keep our children safe as they return.. . I’m not sure if this is enough. Local public school counties (eg.., Prince William, Spotsylvania) are requiring students to remain home for the first semester. While I cannot dictate whether in-school learning is provided, I firmly believe that a virtual option should be offered as well

We must remain praying. We will get through this! As Pastor Max Lucado states. "You will get through this. It won't be painless, it won't be quick. God will turn this mess around for good. In the meantime , do not be foolish, do not be naive. Do not be in despair either. With God help you will get thorough this! Love you all!!!

It's very sad that it had to come to this. I'm a parent of the lower school and has yet to receive an email response/communication from any of the Admins in the LOWER SCHOOL. I'm aware that at the least the upper school has responded or communicated with their parents. It also seems that the teachers and faculty aren't made aware of the decisions that also greatly impacts them. We have built great relationships with the parents and teachers and would like to continue doing so, but the unsympathetic statement to dis enroll your child made by "Pastor Paul" makes it very difficult.

My son has attended Christ Chapel Academy since first grade. He is entering ninth grade in the Fall. Unfortunately, I experienced a major health event that was not COVID-19, but definitely puts me at more risk to be hospitalized, should my son contract the virus and bring it home. It would be virtually impossible for me to social distance from him at all times in our home, especially, if he got sick and needed my care. A virtual option is also necessary for students that do return to school and are later not allowed to continue attending CCA if they contract the virus after school starts. I am praying CCA reconsiders its "Healthy Only" plan for educating our children. The students and parents of CCA deserve as much!

My granddaughter, Sarah Nunnery, is an incoming 10th grader. She’s been in the school since the 6th grade. Telling folks to just unenroll is unacceptable.
