It saddens me that my daughter will not being attending CCA anymore since they’re not offering a virtual/distance learning option. My daughter has been at CCA since Pre-K 2-3 and she loves it but I can’t take the chance to risk her life in attending in person classes. Since schools has reopened there have been 97,000 cases of children with COVID. I can’t understand how CCA can think it’s safe no matter what guidelines they take. Virtual classrooms are a much better safer option and we should be given that option.

Unfair parents did not receive a school plans for upcoming school year until after tuitions fees have been submitted and non refundable.

We sadly had to make the decision to withdraw our kids from CCA. They are in the 4th and 1st grade and have been going to CCA since pre-school. CCA follows PWCPS for all closures and at a time like this they chose not to follow. It is reckless and not Christian like. If the public school system can poll parents to see what they want, why is it that a private, Christian school, that we call a family, did not care enough about us to ask us what WE want? I am very disappointed in this decision and praying I get a response on the waiver of our withdrawal fee.

With all the unknown about this virus and hearing of children going back to school and coming up positive, I think at this time you should follow the Northern VA Schools and open 2nd semester.

Parents, I signed this in solitary but never agreed with it. These people don't care about us. Don't beg them. They work for you. They will not concede to begging or demand. But they will illegally keep all tuition when you withdraw for a school year that has not yet begun. The bookkeeper has been instructed to do so and will provide an professional excerpt from the handbook that they are acting opposite of because school has not started. It's a money game. My family is one of five I know this week who've had $1,215 each withheld, which we paid in advance. So the $1K withdrawal waiver they're touting is a myth. A CHRISTIAN school is doing this to working class families in the midst of a pandemic. Grabbing money any way possible. This is is not the only school on earth and far from the best in this county. How can any parent trust them? It's time for legal action. Imagine how many parents they're stealing from with these withdrawals.

We have been loyal to CCA since 2004 and it is unbelievable that a Christian School is taking a haphazard approach to our children’s health and safety. The pandemic clause should be applied at this time, and if CCA administration is not going to provide full assurance that the school is compliant with CDC guidelines, families should be allowed to withdraw, with the withdrawal penalty WAIVED, all payments MADE refunded, and allow these students to RETURN when it is already safe for everyone.

My granddaughter has underlying conditions that make her vulnerable to COVID-19. I will not pay for her to be in an unsafe and unhealthy environment.

We made the difficult decision to un-enroll our children due to the lack of options. Cost of several thousand in withdrawal fees, however the safety of our children is worth it. Would consider re-enrolling if there was a virtual option in the future

Grateful for all efforts to host in-classroom experiences. However to be considered next Spring 2021 or late fall but hard to digest as the only option in less than 4 weeks considering all that is still ongoing..very concerned for children and extended families with high risk health challenges. Seeking a medium to consider virtual initially.

As we’ve seen all across the world children do get Covid-19 at a lower rate but they do get it and often are asymptotic which means they can pass it on to teachers, parents, grandparents, other staff in the school and other students. Taking such a huge risk with people’s lives is not the right thing to do. Especially when there are other options.
Because of the high risks please offer a virtual option for the students. They can continue to learn and be safe at the same time.

I don’t believe that there is enough supporting data to support students going back to the building. I believe that we should wait until it’s safer. It will be more detrimental to our children if they go back to the building and COVID cases spike and we have to go back to lockdown. Let’s go back when COVID cases drastically decrease and we are ready.

The current CCA guidance on reopening is contrary to the health of the students and faculty staff. Virtual learning should be provided this year, as it was last year, in recognition to the rise of COVID19 infection and death rates since that time.
