I believe that this is very fitting. We will never forget but future generations will be able to remember him also
He’s been my favourite athlete for over a decade. After meeting him, it was obvious he was also an equivalent role model for me as how to be as a person. Rest easy Johnny Hockey.
Even more,a Flames/Blue Jacket #13 dual jersey retirement would be the the greatest move to do. Team face each other November 29th and December 3rd.
Though Johnny wasn’t a Blue Jacket long but the contribution he made to the team and our community can not be overlooked.
Johnny chose Columbus and turned the narrative around of "no stars like Columbus". His impact here was already huge even though his time was cut way too short. RIP #13

As a season ticket holder, I request this. It's the least we can do. Maybe on November 29, the Calgary game
