Will get young people away from car parks / roads. Much safer and gives more opportunity for outdoor sports.
I'd love for this skatepark to be built, the one at Richmond is useless and needs redoing or a new park built, this would be perfect
There's nothing at all to keep the kids who want to be energetic entertained. Everyone moans about kids on x boxes etc, yet there are loads who want to be running around and organising their own amusement. Keep them out of bother, give them this.
There have been many improvements made to the Garrison in recent years. What we need to concentrate on now are things to help keep children entertained. This would be a perfect addition to the park and I know my own children would use it.
The garrison is growing , the majority of children who will use such a facility are well mannered and growing into wonderful pillars of society. There's no where for them to skate currently much to irritation of the public
seems like a great idea don't know why the council wouldn't want to entertain the youth.
Very much needed

This is exactly what the garrison needs! Especially for the youths, almost everyone I know rides something whether it be a skateboard, bike or scooter, we've been asking for a local park for years now!
