In 2007, the beautiful city of Carrollton decided it was time to start recycling. Recycling bins were provided to houses within city limits. In one year, Carrollton recycled 700 tons of "trash." Instead of ending up in landfills, 700 TONS of trash was reused! This means less money is being spent, less resources are being used, and we are making a difference! However, despite this wonderful program, people who live in apartments, town homes, and condos are still not provided with recycling bins. This needs to change! 700 tons is a lot, indeed, but we can double that! Think of ALL the apartments in Carrollton! There is so much potential. Recycling should be a priority not a pain. But we can make it possible for everyone! Please, sign this petition if you would like to see recycling bins provided to apartments, town homes, and condos in Carrollton, GA.
