The silence from the Parish officials remains frustrating but I am still spending my evenings documenting the drainage risks. It is exhausting to keep pushing against this development alone but reading your comments about our rural roads keeps me focused on the fight.

Reaching this level of support shows that the people here truly care about saving our community from this development. The road ahead remains difficult but seeing this many neighbors unite gives me the fuel to keep pushing.

Please leave our quiet area alone! We moved to Carlyss specifically because it isnt crowded. Stop putting apartments everywhere.
My kids walk near that stretch sometimes and it scares me how fast cars go. adding more turning traffic is a terrible idea.
traffic on 27 is already a nightmare during peak hours. adding a complex there is just asking for a major wreck. we dont need this.
Enough with the developments. Carlyss is rural for a reason.
Highway 27 is way too dangerous for added congestion. The police jury needs to listen to the people who live here and not just developers.

Drainage is already a huge problem in this parish. Does anyone actually look at the maps before approving these huge buildings???
