We, the citizens and stakeholder of the Carlyss community, do request the members of Calcasieu Parish Zoning Board, and the members of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, to reject the developer's request to build an apartment complex on Hwy. 27 South. Several concerns we have as citizens and stakeholders are: Traffic egress and ingress, highway traffic safety, drainage, safety for the citizens, and the loss of our quiet rural community. We humbly request that the Zoning Board and the Calcasieu Parish Police Jurors will rule with the constituents and stakeholders of the community.
