The board has suggested the following rule be added to our community bylaws

“No congregating in the common area.” This rule would give the board the ability

to regulate and fine homeowners for any gathering outdoors no matter the location,

number of individuals, length of the gathering, etc.

It is our opinion that there should be no restriction of residents throughout the

common area. We should have the freedom to utilize all of our neighborhood's

common spaces.

Signing this petition states you agree that our usage of the common area should not be restricted

Updates

November 3, 2023

I have been hearing from so many of you who find the idea of being fined for sitting in your own yard just as absurd as I do. The board remains silent but I am currently drafting a formal response to challenge these overreaching restrictions on our neighborhood.

November 3, 2023

Seeing so many of my neighbors step up to protect our right to enjoy the outdoors shows me that we are not alone in this fight. This wave of support proves that we value our community spirit far more than empty rules that keep us apart.

We have a beautiful community and we should all respectfully be able to use the common areas within that beautiful community!

Ridiculous rule. If I wanna talk to a neighbor while walking my dog I should be able to do that. None of the boards business.

So than the pool can't be used or the clubhouse. This is not Leasure World. As long as the activity is not illegal, not impeding travel on property and is not byond quite hours 10pm to 8am. There is no issue, we do not live in a police state, or a communist country as yet!

That’s the whole point of common space is to be able to use it!

As long as the activity is not illegal there should be no restictions.

It is not legal to tell me I can't gather in my own community.

We should have the opportunity to park in common area.
