Yes. It does impact on visiting the supermarket and high street. You can shop in Tesco for more than 1.5 hours and that wouldn’t give you much time on the high street.

I like to enjoy Whitchurch when I visit to shop. 2 hrs is enough time to shop only, no time to browse or have coffee, both which i do regularly.

The only time I have had a problem parking there was while the top car park was closed due to the construction of the new swimming pool. This is now open along with more extra spaces. As Tesco's say it is their car park for their customers, they obviously do not care about the tow centre shops etc.

Need the car parking if you want Whitchurch to thrive

Not enough time to visit town shops or hairdressers or visit a cafe. No need now we have full carpark back

For people who live out if town and want to go to a cafe to meet friends then 2 hours isn't long enough

Im definitely more time conscious in Whitchurch and less like to have lunch and go shopping, I tend to rush back

I was fined after parking for 2 hours 10 minutes, I did my shopping in Tesco, then did shopping in the high street and stopped for a coffee, how are we supposed to support our local businesses if we are not supported with parking in the town

Not enough time to shop and go for lunch

Not long enough to shop in town & shop in Tesco so if it doesn’t alter I will shop out of town

Have to keep an eye on the clock after shopping, not really enough time to use my usual cafe.
