I really never thought we would get this kind of traction when I started typing this up on my phone between classes but here we are and it is honestly wild to see so many people actually backing the idea of personal graduation caps. It really makes me think about how much we can actually change if we just decide to talk about it together even if the administration thinks we should just stay quiet.

There is No reason why they shouldn't be able to tastefully decorate there caps it's there special day they will never get this again. Let them remember it and have something to keep as a memorabilia of the beginning of a new chapter in life
I Rubbab Jafri, have signed the petition for decorating the caps for graduation!
Us seniors should be able to decorate our caps Irs a sign of expression and it’s the last thing that we will have to remember pur high school years. I understand tradition but someone’s tradition changes
We purchase our own cap and gowns therefore they are ours and we have the right to decorate them however we chose do to the first amendment (freedom of speech which in this case is through decoration and art). We decorate them to show our pride in graduating from high school. It isn’t a disrespectful intention, it is us taking pride and sharing our accomplishment with our friends and families.
Let the kids decorate their caps! If you're worried about what will be on them, give them a chance to have their designs pre-approved. Most of them will just be quotes and flowers.
Please allow them to be creative

I think that decorating your caps with appropriate messages and designs can be an amazing way to express your individuality as you look back upon the four years you spent in high school. It is a beautiful way to end your highschool career.
