Sign this petition if you agree that Bermudian graduates should be able to decorate their graduation caps. It would be a harmless form of expression and provide added enjoyment for the graduating class. Caps would be approved prior to the event in order to ensure their appropriateness. Other high schools such as New Oxford allow their students to participate in the fun graduation activity. After dedicating four years to Bermudian Springs High School, it would be rewarding to be able to decorate the caps and show individuality. Seeing the momentum grow behind this idea has been exhausting but deeply validating. I know we have a long road ahead to get the administration to budge, but seeing so many of you acknowledge the value of this simple expression keeps me going.

I don't see why we cannot have the option to decorate our caps. If you don't wish to decorate your cap, then simply let it blank.
Our class would essentially be paying for them from our fundraisers and yes we would keep them because they would be "damaged." So we would pay the price to replace them from the place we rent them OR we could buy them in bulk from somewhere else.
We have enough money to buy the caps to decorate. Also, if they are pre approved why should it be a problem? This is a great idea for everyone willing to express their creativity. I say we do it.
I think this is a great idea and the graduates deserve to do this as a reward of getting through the past four years and be proud to graduate as an eagle student.
We are able to afford the caps with our class money. It's the end of the year, what else are we gonna do with it? We had so many fundraisers for money to be left over and donate a ton to the school. We should be allowed to decorate our caps.
