My shutter release has stopped working and this seems to be a common problem. Please acknowledge!

Camera just suddenly doesnt want to take a picture. Focus is fine.

I now have the same problem, can now only use the camera for video, my serial number starts at 41, hoping Canon will recall.

Barely used camera. Shutter release fail/defective. IF Canon does not stand by their products we will never BUY from them again!

Colin and Diane Rilley on holiday in Portugal when failure occurred. Very disappointing to say the least. Home is in South Africa. We would very much like to have this camera repaired.

My shutter release mechanism is working very intermittently all of a sudden. I cant depend on the actuator to get me the shot. I need to get it repaired somewhere in South Africa. My S100 is a great little camera.

My S100 also developed the issue with non-responsive shutter release. Please recall.

S100 used a few times and NOW shutter release does not work. RECALL or loose LOYAL customers

My Canon S100 has the shutter release problem as well. Very dissapointed, especially since i raved about this camera and got many others to buy one.

Please issue a recall to address this manufacturing component issue.

I have a Canon S100 with unresponsive shutter button. Very disappointed with Canon. Will reconsider all future Canon purchases.

The shutter button on my Canon s100 dosen't work since several years. Never again a Canon.
