Lets just get down to the bottom line here. We as Canadian consumers have the right to shop around and find the best deals on merchandise. Unfortunately we are being forced to find these deals in another country for the same item. It is a shame because ultimately we would rather contribute to Canadian companies. However with the strength of the Canadian dollar, the bargains are south of the border. For example: At a large wholesale retailer an item was found selling for $57.99 CAD. At the same retailer in the US the item sold for 44.99 USD. You do the math. We are putting you on notice that unless you drop your prices to reflect on the strength on the CAD, we will not shop at your establishment. Instead the money goes south.This Petition will be sent to many many retailers in Canada and hopefully won\'t fall on deaf ears.
