what harm could it do? technically the Dr could shape shift into any being during regeneration, it is an alien afterall.
I don't want to shorten Capaldi's long and glorious reign, but I would love to see a female doctor- She would have to be sassy though.
I'd like to see a female Doctor. It would add something different to the show. If the Doctor regenerated into a woman, Doctor Who would seem like it has more gender equality.
