The CRA are proposing that the Camposol Cultural Centre be used as a polling station for elections to save residents the trip to Mazarron to cast a vote. The Mayor informs us that its not in his power to do this and that we must make our feelings known to the Election Authorities who organise these things.
Although the next elections are 2.5 years away as you well know, these things take an age in Spain so an early submission of the petition should guarantee a result in time. We are aiming to hand the petition in on Wednesday 14th November, ( yes this year ) and have it recorded as so in the minutes of the meeting that day with the Mayor.
If you agree that the Cultural Centre be used as a polling station, please sign this petition including your NIE/DNI number as well as your nationality.

Its ridiculous having to drive all the way into Mazarron just to vote. We have a perfectly good centre right here.
Long overdue. The trip to town is a total hassle for the older residents especially.
YES PLEASE. saves us so much time and petrol.
Been living here 10 years and its always been a massive pain in the neck to get to the polling station. Fix this already.
Common sense would be to use our own facilities. Stop making us travel for nothing.
