We demand that the London Mayor, Boris Johnson, acts on the state of affairs at Camden Town Tube station immediately. The Tube station has been partially closed on weekends for several years now and the down escalator has been out of action since 22 July. This is unacceptable and we urgently call on the London Mayor to make Camden Town Tube station usable again.

I have been reading through the comments and seeing how many of you face the same frustration navigating this station every single week. My own commute is a constant struggle with these broken escalators and I am currently working on a formal letter to push for real answers from the Mayor.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me how many of us are tired of being trapped in the crowds while the station falls apart. I spent years navigating these broken escalators with my mother and this support proves it is finally time for the Mayor to listen.
