The silence regarding the future of the station remains concerning despite our ongoing efforts to reach the Mayor. I am presently gathering formal documentation to challenge the logic behind these proposed cuts.

The groundswell of support for Downham Fire Station has surpassed my initial expectations. This momentum confirms that our community refuses to accept the closure of such vital infrastructure. We will now focus our efforts on ensuring the Mayor acknowledges this clear mandate.

Leave it alone. We pay our taxes for these services.
Downham station has been here forever. My grandad was a fireie and he would be ashamed of this decision.
Why spend money on stupid cable cars when people are gonna be at risk? Prioritize the actual people living here for once.
BORIS needs to look at the budget again. Firefighters are the last people who should be losing their stations.
Keep our station open. We need these guys nearby if something goes wrong. Stop cutting corners on our safety.

Ridiculous to even think about closing this down. Seconds count when there is a fire. Dont leave us unprotected.
