We need that studio time, once again everything is being rushed with having to do writing work as well as expecting us to have the much needed degree show work

Why would you close the studios so close to the degree show? Such a stupid idea

Students should have reliable and functional work environments and it is unfair to blatantly disregard their necessities.

I went to Camberwell in the 90s and it was so vibrant. I don't think they'd have even considered closing over Easter back then!

I want to use the studio space in the spring vacation as well for our MA course is short and the final exhibition is coming soon.

this is terrible and ruining their course work. They pay a lot of money for their courses. This is wrong.

Some of the most important things for an art student are: the studios, libraries and easels. Camberwell students need their studios open

UAL has proved time and time again that they do not care about students, only profits, big names, advertising and public image. The decision to close our studios sets a precedent for the way working class, disabled and low income artists will be treated within their future career. What a way to discourage those who are breaking barriers, who have over come so much and sacrificed a lot to be in this position now. UAL reflects the bureaucratic and classist world of Fine Art today. Shame.

Time for universities to start supporting their students instead of seeing them as an inconvenience.
