I’m a third year student and without the studios, I can’t produce the work I need on the scale required for my final project. I have no idea where I’m going to go because the learning zone at Camberwell is not enough. With the amount we pay to this institution, they should at least employ their security staff to cover the studios- it also gives them a job which, in this current climate, will help them too. And if not, offer it to other staff. UAL, you’re supposed to be one of the top arts universities and honestly it’s not coming across in the things like this…

As someone who has worked as a curator and with artists at the V&A for many years, I think enabling students to have access to their working/making space is essential, especially during the lead up to their exams.
