Save maitreya

I have attended numerous lifestyle festivals such as Maitreya and always ensure I support the local community by purchasing supplies and meals at the relevant local community. Disallowing this festival to go ahead in Charlton will not only have a severely negative impact on the livelihood of the local businesses but also the broader Charlton community. I urge you to reconsider your position regarding this matter.

Please save this festival my home town needs the cash injection it brings to save their town. Not to mention how many ppl attend 7,000 last year 9,000 this year that love this peaceful lovely festival

Please take us back to the lovely lake. So we can dance together and celebrate the unity such a majestic event invokes within us. Last year it was the perfect place, please let us return.

Music and festivals are rare magic, they boost the economy and the spiritual happiness of the people and the land. They are cleaner and less violent than many smaller parties, and should be given priority! #savemaitreya!

Please help save our Maitreya festival which brings a huge economic boost to Charlton. Charlton has been struggling since the floods a few years ago, and the boost from this festival is a huge help providing income and visitors to the town from all over the world. Thank you.

The Maitreya crew are some of the best folks around. Thousands of people want to head to your tiny town, surely your local economy will benefit hugely from this event which, along with Rainbow Serpent, really puts Victoria on the map as a festival destination. Sydney has recently become an international laughing stock because bureaucracy has got in the way of common sense. Please, learn from their mistake and welcome folks from all over the world into your community. We'll thank you for it xx
