With the rural economy struggling, why "look a gift horse in the mouth"?

Please support the locals who want this to continue. I don't think there is anyone that wants to see the festival or area crippled in the process

I drive two hours to get to Maitreya and buy all of my food and supplies from the small towns along the way. I am one of many.

Please reverse decision by Buloke Shire. Charlton, my hometown needs this festival to boost morale and prosperity while enduring yet another drought.

A council that does not care for its community. This event brings so much to the towns in the buloke shire.

To a small country town already downtrodden with drought why remove an event that generates income and bands these people together ?

Its a crying shame that the festival could be lost forever. It bring so much needed $$$ to all country towns on the way to charlton. Please help save it.

The town & surrounds need this to happen as last year festival bought income into our town for businesses & surrounds by thousands of people plus helped with fundraising for local groups/clubs. It also boosts moral of drought affected town.

Paperwork... prrft! Council work with the townfolk of Charlton who want this and get it sorted.... the wider community of the north central region also benefit from this projection of income that comes with the festival. It's a boost for the towns, don't turn the other way when something good is under your noses.
