Maitreya festival is one of these place where humanity goes back to the prior values : sharing with people, loving, helping each other...
Please, don't take that from us.

These festivals are well organised, generally the attendees are extremely well behaved and they benefit local communities. Don't ruin the fun!

This event means so much to the lives of so many people, you are literally making the people of charlton have to struggle by not allowing this. Look out for those your are paid to govern not rip them off and make them unhappy. Let alone the happiness that is then spread throughout the country by the 10,000 festival attendees after the festival!!

Look to Europe, if they can do it so can we. But they treat their young people as responsible individuals. Here we add more rules which create a nanny state and seem to make Australian's unable to behave. Let's look to other nations doing it better than stopping creativity and diversity in Australia. Sport is not the only thing gov should get behind!

Just because you have a few bag eggs, drag racing the streets of melbourne. Does NOT mean we should ban all cars.
This festival, if you have ever been. Is a gift. A welcome space of inclusion and support for adolescents and young adults who struggle to find a sense of space in this world.
I suggest you have a chat with the locals of the town before making an illegal decision to Ban a completely legal and safe event.
We will fight back.

We would love to bring revolutionary 3D Art and Technology to Charlton and the Buloke Shire, don´t let yourself get disconnected from the fruits of your culture and the benefits of global exchange. All the best from Berlin, Germany

Our Towns need this, not just Chartlon but Wycheproof & Donald,
Why can't our council see that and do everything in their power. To make it happen

Removing such a wonderful festival from a town where they have put so much back to the community makes no sense

Please do what you can to help the parties involved sort this out. Small rural towns are desperate for large events such as this to come to their area. Overall Maitreya was a huge success for Charlton financially and was also a fun event to be part of. We don't want to lose it
