We the undersigned demand that our MP, Nadhim Zahawi Under Secretary of State for Children and Families, calls a public meeting to answer to his constituents and be accountable for his attendance at The Presidents Club Fundraiser where woman were sexually harassed.
I am honestly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this request. This response belongs entirely to those of you who decided this issue needed attention.

On this occasion, silence is far from golden. Come forward. Face your constituents and be accountable for what you did - apparently knowing the type of event you had been asked to attend. Call a meeting and take responsibility for your actions Mr Zahawi.

Girls should have the right be treated with respect on all occasions and should never be asked to work in an environment where they become sexual objects.

MPs need to be publicly accountable for their behaviour when it expresses unacceptable views that violate public trust. Attending a misogynist event (for several years running) when they have been given responsibility for families and education is one such instance. No comment and no apology is not acceptable in a democracy.

Mr Zahawi is ususally one of the first to jump to the defence of other MPs being criticised. I don't see many coming forward to support him!
