You may or may not be aware that CIPOA has plans to place a significant number of large signs on and around the golf course, near the rest rooms and near the entrance to the Island. These obtrusive signs will be warning people about the dangers of alligators and snakes- a fact that everyone is already inherently aware of .

We strongly object to the placing of snake and alligator caution signs on the golf course and other common areas. The signs are a waste of money, detract from the natural beauty of Callawassie and could possibly turn off potential real estate buyers.

The decision to place the signs was done in a vacuum with little input from most current residents.

We ask that this decision be rescinded.
