Hate speech of any kind should not be allowed of a public official. If a MSCS teacher had said this, they would have been fired immediately.

As a veteran teacher and former legacy MCS teacher, then SCS… I am appalled at her unethical behavior.

As a Hispanic parent of a student in Memphis City, blatant racism against our people from a representative of our city should be intolerable to everyone. My child deserves better.

Regardless of interaction, as a professional and official of the school system with the immense impact and power invested into them, comments like that do NOT belong in the classroom let alone the board.

Resign now! You are a racist and our students deserve a leader who cares despite where they come from, what language they speak, or how they look.

As a women with must education she claims I believe racism is never the answer, neither to threat to deport if it was the other way around people would get upset. As she has a big role in the education system how doesn’t this look bad? It looks tremendously unbelievable how that crosses her mind to say things when she supposed to make decisions for our kids! The example she is setting wasn’t professional at all.
