Please support the proposed by-law to regulate excessive motorcycle noise in Caledon. Noise from motorcycles with modified exhaust systems has become an increasingly problematic challenge.
A new standard (SAE J2825) and testing procedure have been developed by the motorcycle industry governing body to objectively determine what 'excessive motorcycle noise' is. Bikes with stock, manufacturer-installed exhaust systems will pass the test. A minority of owners who have modifed their bikes' exhaust systems by removing noise reducing baffles will more than likely fail. Responsible, respectful owners of quiet bikes are welcome in our community.
Caledon Council will be voting Tuesday, 5 October 7:00 PM, Town Hall in Caledon East, Ontario. Feel Free to attend. Help make living in Caledon the pleasant and enjoyable experience residents would like it to be. Thank you for your support!!

get pipes that arent meant to wake the dead. its common sense honestly.
Finally! I am so tired of being woken up at 3am by these guys blasting through town like they own the place. Enough is enough.
Some of us work night shifts and actually need to sleep. Its not about hating bikes its about being a decent neighbor.
people have no respect anymore. loud exhausts arent cool they are just annoying.
YES. It shakes my windows everytime they speed by during dinner. Totally uncalled for.

My dog barks like crazy everytime one of these loud bikes goes past our house. Its constant. Please fix this council!!
